Oils
I like how oil flows; it absorbs itself and emerges new.
Using oils, I can manipulate the source and texture - making it thick, thin, and/or watery. My earlier work was with my fingers and a pallet knife, giving a unique translation of my work. However, now I paint oils with paintbrushes, focusing more on the brushwork.
My works need to inspire me in some way. I’m drawn to images that evoke emotion.
